Andrés Tapia Viaux

Experience

Over 12 years of experience representing individuals and companies in complex civil and commercial disputes. His practice focuses on asset-related litigation, contractual and non-contractual civil liability, damages claims, commercial disputes and procedural strategies before ordinary courts, arbitral tribunals and higher courts.

He leads the firm’s Private Law practice, particularly Damages and Civil Liability, representing clients in civil and commercial disputes, both in and out of court, that require a strategic, specialised and results-oriented approach. He also leads Commercial Law, advising clients on corporate and company matters at every stage.

Before founding CÁDIZ Legal, he was a Senior Lawyer in the Corporate Legal and External Affairs Department of SMU S.A. (Grupo Saieh) (2022–2023); an associate at Rivera Bunger Barahona Bonacic Castillo Abogados (2018–2021); and an associate at Barahona Castillo Bonacic Abogados (2006–2018).
